revolutionary love

Haiti, wow. I cannot put in to words (or even comprehend) all that happened and is happening there. I think Sara Groves says it well...

Your pain has changed me, your dreams inspire.

Your face a memory, your hope a fire.

Your courage asks me, what I'm made of.

Your courage asks me, what I'm afraid of.

And what I know of Love...

And what I know of God.

The Lord changed my life in Haiti; I will never be the same. Oh, Lord, please show me to love as Your Son loved us. We love because He first loved us. (1 John 4:19)

"May God be merciful and bless us.
May His face smile with favor on us.
May Your ways be known throughout the earth,
Your saving power among people everywhere.
May the nations praise You, Oh God.
Yes, may all the nations praise You.
Let the whole world sing for joy,
for You govern the nations with justice,
and guide the people of the whole world.
May the nations praise You, Oh God.
Yes, may all the nations praise You.
Then the earth will yield its harvest,
and God, our God, will richly bless us.
Yes, God will bless us,
and people all over the world will fear Him."
-Psalm 67

  4. mm Bec. So true. And as they say... pictures are worth a 1000 words. : )

But in all seriousness, I am so glad I had the opportunity to serve with you in Haiti. I enjoyed to watch you love on those little children. I cannot wait to do ministry with you again in the future.
